Bournea Reaching Out Society is a volunteer-led group dedicated to researching, recording, and celebrating the rich heritage of the Bournea area - spanning Roscrea, Clonakenny, Couraguneen and surrounding townlands.
Our mission is to ensure the stories of the people who lived, worked, and left this place are never forgotten. We collect and preserve family histories, local records, and emigration archives - including the journeys of those who travelled through Ellis Island - so that future generations can continue to explore their roots.
